MOO
Moo is a powerful animated short film set in a mystical forest world where nature and magical beings live in harmony—far away from the destructive reach of humans.
The story follows Gumby, an aging guardian of the forest who carries the painful memories of a devastating night from his past. As a young boy, he was forced to leave his dying father Muza during a violent storm, after being entrusted with a sacred responsibility—to protect the future of nature and find the foretold Forest Goddess and the Forest Protector.
Years later, Gumby lives quietly with his family and granddaughter Oinga, still haunted by his father’s prophecy. While Oinga searches the forest for signs of the mythical protectors, the village continues its peaceful life—until one terrifying night changes everything.
Without warning, human forces descend upon the island with fire and destruction, raining explosive arrows upon the peaceful settlement. Homes burn, villagers fall, and chaos spreads through the once-serene forest.
In the middle of the devastation, Gumby must face an unbearable choice once again. As he watches his daughter Breezasacrifice herself to save the next generation, he realizes that the prophecy of his father is finally unfolding.
Carrying the unconscious child Moo, who mysteriously begins to glow with a divine green light, and guided by the fierce determination of Oinga, Gumby escapes the burning island across a dark lake—leaving behind everything he once knew.
As the flames consume their homeland, the truth slowly reveals itself:
The Forest Goddess and the Forest Protector have finally appeared.
Moo is a deeply emotional story about sacrifice, legacy, environmental destruction, and hope for nature’s rebirth, told through a visually poetic animated world where memory, prophecy, and survival intertwine.
