Synopsis

 

Set against the formidable backdrop of the Karakoram Range, Will is a cinematic journey that explores the thin line between life and death and the transcendental power of love.

The Inciting Incident:

The story opens with a chilling phone call to Celia and her mother-in-law, Katie. The news is dire: Will, an expert mountaineer, has fallen into a deep crevasse on the treacherous slopes of Mount K2. As a storm rages, a search team remains grounded, leaving Will’s survival in the hands of fate.

The Dual Struggle:

​The narrative unfolds in two parallel worlds:

• The Abyss: Will lies unconscious on a precarious icy ledge, his body battered and still in the frigid silence of the mountain.

• The Vigil: Back home, the room becomes a sanctuary of shared grief. Katie, frail and burdened by worry, eventually slips into unconsciousness herself, while Celia remains a constant, hopeful anchor by her bedside.
